The Abner is an exciting new boutique hotel in the historic former Litchfield Country Courthouse in picturesque Litchfield, Connecticut. Constructed in 1888, the iconic stone building is being given new life as The Abner featuring 20 beautiful and spacious guest rooms, a stunning new restaurant in the historic main courtroom, a seasonal roof bar affording sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, and private meeting and social spaces.

The Abner will feature a mix of historical details and artifacts from the rich history as a public court building with modern comforts and thoughtful amenities to create a truly unique and luxurious destination. We are excited to bring this important piece of historic architecture into its next chapter and create a gathering space for the local community and our future guests.
